DIY Board - $100* per month (Do It Yourself)
You will have a stable and pasture to use but you will have to provide everything. It is up to you to look after your horse. In the winter we will throw hay in if living out and we will check your horse everyday but the majority of care is your responsibility.
If you are sick, on holiday, or the weather is too bad for you to come out we will look after your horse, but you will be charged for it.
Not suitable for the part time owner!
Pasture Board - $180* per month
We have 4 paddocks, so can rotate horses accordingly.
In the winter they are fed Alfalfa/brome mix hay and fed grain if required. If they are at the bottom of the pecking order we will catch and take them into the barn during feeding times to stop bullying.
There is access to a large shelter and clean fresh water is always available.
This is like full board but without the stable.
Full Board - $300* per month
We have stabling in our barn and use good quality straw for bedding, stables are cleaned properly every day.
We turn out in the morning and bring them in at evening, changing rugs is included if any are used. We turn out everyday during the winter, if weather is exceptionally bad then it may be limited to a couple of hours.
During summer hours we turnout at night and bring in the morning so the horses can escape the sun and flies.
We feed Alfalfa/brome mixed hay during the winter months outside and all night in their stables. They are fed grain as needed twice a day. In the summer we adjust the hay and grain intake depending on each individual horse.
