Living Sky Stables is owned and operated by Debbie and Kevin Davis. They relocated from the United Kingdom to Yorkton in the year 2006.

2008 they bought an acreage to start Living Sky Stables, until that time Debbie had helped out at the track with the harness racing and been teaching English Riding lessons.

Like many girls in the UK Debbie grew up loving horses and begging her parents for riding lessons. But coming from a background where money was in short supply she took it upon herself at the age of 14 to volunteer at the local riding school in return for a free ride.

This she did for 8 hours a day on both weekend days and everyday in the school holidays. In this time she became a member of the Minchinhampton Pony Club and gained the B Test certificate. While it was extremely hard work working at the riding school, the experience she got paid off when they offered her a full time job with the opportunity to compete and take the British Horse Certificates.

For 6 years Debbie worked at the riding school, they taught her how to teach and it was soon realised that she had an aptitude for teaching kids and nervous riders. Later jobs involved working in a racing yard, work/riding the racehorses and working in hunting yards. She also taught people on their own horses and at Pony Club.

Debbie and Kevin met and got married in 1998 and had Caitlin in 2000 and Scott in 2002. Before leaving the UK Debbie worked part time at Summerhouse Equitation Centre once again teaching children to ride.
